The Planning manager is a key role in the business operations structure supporting not just the immediate needs of demand planning and replenishment but also wider growth planning needs and business strategy input. Our business has a focus on fresh products with a short shelf life so balancing supply and demand to hit waste and availability targets will be a core focus. This role will be exciting and stretching, requiring you to support both day to day activity and short term planning needs, as well as influencing longer term strategic direction for the business.
We’re a VC-backed scale-up with ambitious plans, and growing fast. That’s why we’re looking for our Planning Manager to help us grow seamlessly and support customer acquisition and retention.
You will benefit from flexible hours and optional remote working. While the position will be remote working only to begin with, as social restrictions ease, some office work will be required to interact with the broader team, so you should be London-based or able to travel, as necessary.

What you’ll be doing
You will be developing the planning function of Collectiv Food. We are a highly tech oriented business, relentlessly focused on employing our own or the best available software to build smart solutions for supply chain integration
Working closely with colleagues across the business, your main responsibilities will be:
Enabling the effective balancing of product supply and customer demand through forecasting and planning
Meeting product availability targets for order fulfilment, minimising waste levels
Supply and replenishment planning of producer orders through the Finance and Operations Administration resource
As a business that is expanding with an exciting, innovative operating model, you will also be supporting the leadership team with the planning of capacity and its deployment for growth in UK and abroad
Supporting commercial and supply chain leadership in shaping catalogue strategy for profitable offer expansion
Inventory management - supporting the control of perishable stock through the operations team and liaising with the producer team
Leadership of the business S&OP cycle
Analysis with finance to develop optimal category insight in support of profitable offer expansion
What we’re looking for
An accomplished and experienced senior demand planner/supply chain manager, with a number of years accumulated leading the end to end demand planning process for wholesale food products
Someone who has worked collaboratively with multiple senior commercial, operational and finance colleagues to generate your own forecast, influencing accordingly and built from commercial input, statistical overlay and your own category insight and expertise
We’re in the process of developing processes and systems so need somebody who is flexible and adaptable and willing to lead us to develop quickly, in order to support rapid planned growth
You thrive in an entrepreneurial workspace, being self motivated and willing to immerse yourself in Collectiv Food to help develop our capability
We’re looking for a person with an analytical bias, comfortable interrogating and manipulating large data sets to convert into meaningful analysis and derive trends
We want you to create clarity out of ambiguity

Hybrid office based (Notting Hill Gate, London) and remote working model - whilst you can work from the office five days a week if preferred, you can choose to work up to 2 days a week remotely
